What’s involved?

Ever wondered what happens at the point where day and night meet? The Twilight Zone is that captivating boundary; an imaginary line marking the point where light and darkness collide - known in science as The Terminator, The Grey Line or The Twilight Zone. Taking this scientific phenomenon, and using it to inspire playful exploration, group discussion, and ideas generation we invite you to step into a metaphorical Twilight Zone; a 6-month research space where myths, stories, traditions, art, and imagination blend. You will be part of a team responsible for collectively exploring the creative possibilities for a proposed winter festival for Milton Keynes.

You’ll collaborate with peers to explore possible themes for a winter festival; develop and share ideas; be inspired by creative professionals; experience live outdoor events; and codesign a festival brief. Snacks and drinks are provided within a relaxed and sociable environment.

Join the project team

The project team is open to anyone aged 16 to 25 living, learning or working in Central Milton Keynes including the surrounding areas of: Bradwell Common, Conniburrow, Downs Barn, Woolstone, Fishermead, Oldbrook and Leadenhall.
