Offset Projects is looking for a Treasurer to join our Board at an exciting stage in our development, as we work towards becoming a registered charity. You’ll help guide our financial planning, support good decision-making and contribute to a sustainable future for our work with young people.
You don’t need previous Board experience or to be an established finance professional. We welcome people with experience of budgeting, finance or accountancy gained through work, education, volunteering or other practical settings. We’ll support you to develop your knowledge of charity finance, governance and trusteeship.
Our Board is committed to achieving 50% youth representation and welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. We’re particularly keen to hear from people under 30, as well as those considering their first Board role or whose communities are underrepresented in creative spaces. Most meetings are online, and you don’t need to be based in Milton Keynes to apply.

Your involvement can ensure we keep improving how we work with under 25s. You can help make sure that they have the most exciting and relevant opportunities to contribute to change; experience the unique and imaginative; grow a career; stretch out of their comfort zone; and be sociable.
You’ll connect with Offset’s directors, fellow Board members and key figures in the wider community. You’ll grow your network and confidence as you share your thoughts and views with others – an important skill in any career. You’ll become more comfortable with public speaking, debate and discussion techniques.
You don’t need previous experience of being on a Board, or any particular qualifications. Your experience of being under 25 will play a crucial role in helping make strategic decisions that benefit other under 25s. Being on a Board can be a rewarding opportunity and can make a real difference to yourself and others.
