Through drawing, large-scale mapping, model-making and conversation, you’ll be asked to individually and collectively reimagine the city - its festivals, public spaces, architecture and stories.

Further information

Milton Keynes is bidding to be UK City of Culture 2029. Officially long-listed earlier this year, the final bid led by MKCC will be submitted to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport this summer and the winning city announced in early 2027.

While led by MKCC alongside partners from the arts, business, voluntary and community sectors, the bid belongs to the communities of Milton Keynes. If MK wins, 2029 will be a year-long celebration with spectacular outdoor events, creative projects in every community, and opportunities for local people to take part, volunteer and lead.
