Want to collaborate with peers, work with artists and learn about events management? Join our Twilight Zone summer sessions where you’ll get to develop and share ideas, be inspired and meet like-minded people. The Twilight Zone acts as a metaphorical space; to playfully explore the myths, stories, traditions, art, and themes for a proposed winter festival in Milton Keynes.
Day 1 & 2 will be artist-led providing the opportunity for participants to be creative whilst testing and sharing ideas. Community-driven, experimental filmmakers Xenia Glen and Antosh Wojcik of Sleepwalker Studios will guide participants through artistic exercises, crafting words, sound-scaping and collaging video/visual art to capture, crowdsource and express these ideas. Day 3 will include a session with industry experts working in events management and outdoor festivals; and a closing session with Offset Projects.
Lunch & snacks provided throughout. Expenses included for all participants. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that the sessions will be split between two CMK locations:
Big Shop Friday, Malborough Gate (located on the ground floor of the CMK Multi-Storey Car Park behind John Lewis and across the road from MK Theatre.)

Background Information
The Twilight Zone summer sessions are open to anyone aged 16 - 25 in Milton Keynes. These sessions are part of a 6-month project delivered in partnership with MK City Council to gather ideas and themes for a proposed winter festival for the city. You may take part in these sessions independent of joining The Twilight Team. Equally, if you wish to continue working with us after taking part in the summer sessions please let us know and we’ll share a team registration form with you.
